Real Madrid announce signing of Jude Bellingham! See what he will earn…

Spanish football giants Real Madrid have announced the signing of English prodigy Jude Bellingham from Borrusia Dortmund. The 19-year-old becomes the club’s first signing of the club this season. His arrival at the club was confirmed in a statement on the official website of the club on Wednesday.

“Real Madrid C. F. and Borussia Dortmund have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player Jude Bellingham, who will be contracted to our club for the next six seasons. Jude Bellingham will be unveiled as a new Real Madrid player tomorrow, Thursday 15 June, at 12:00 noon at Real Madrid City. Following this, Jude Bellingham will speak to the media.”

The former Birmingham City Academy graduate was signed for €103m but the total fee could rise to over €133m considering ad ons. The English midfielder is set to earn between €10/12m per year as a Real Madrid player.

Jude Bellingham is now the sixth English player to play for Real Madrid after Laurie Cunningham (1979-1984), Steve McManaman (1999-2003), David Beckham (2003-2007), Michael Owen (2004-2005), and Jonathan Woodgate (2004-2007).

The highly-rated midfielder scored 14 goals and provided 7 assists in 42 appearances which earned the Bundesliga Player of the Year Award for the 2022/2023 season.
