Samuel Kalu was one of the star players on that glorious afternoon at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium as the Super Eagles of Nigeria annihilated Libya by 4-0 in an Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier.
The 23-year-old completed the thumping of the North African side in the 89th minute as he curled the ball into the left bottom corner of Libya’s goalkepper from distance as he crowned his debut appearance for the Super Eagles with a goal.
One this day, Samuel Kalu turns 23 as he continues to shine in th colors of his club and national team.
The dazzling winger plays for Bordeaux in the French Ligue 1. He had a not too impressive outing last season as he scored a goal and provided two assists in 22 appearances for the side but he reamins an integral part of Paulo Sousa’s team.
Hearty Cheers Samuel !!
