Rohr confirms he has received a new contract offer from NFF
Gernot Rohr has confirmed he has received an official offer of a new contract by the Amaju Pinnick led Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to continue has head coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Rohr and the NFF have been back and forth over an extension after three years in the job.
Rohr’s current deal is set to expire in June this year and the NFF have offered him a new deal but he must accept the working conditions sipulated in the contract.
In an interview with Girondis4ever Rohr confirmed he has received a new contract, he said, “I already discussed with the president about my future since i am at the end of the contract. The contract will end on June 30.
“I just received a proposal for an extension. I will also have to look at it.”
Rohr led the Super Eagles to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia and a bronze medal finish at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt.
