Super Eagles striker, Sadiq Umar is close to joining Spanish La Liga side Villareal from UD Almeria.
The lanky striker became a target for Unai Emery’s side following the departure of Paco Alcacer from the Yellow Submarines.
Sadiq Umar has agreed on personal terms with Villareal according to reports in Spain but both clubs are yet to find an agreement in terms of his transfer fee.
Report suggest that Almeria are requesting for a fee in the region of €25m for the Nigerian striker.
Sadiq Umar helped Almeria gian promotion into the Soanish top flight this season with 18 goals and 9 assists in 36 games.
Getafe, Sevilla, and Valencia are among the clubs that have also indicated an interest in signing the 25-year-old striker.
