The President of Sierra Leone has promised to give each national team player a sum of $20,000 if they secure qualification for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroun.
In a bid to motivate the Leone Stars President Julius Maada said each player will be rewarded with largesse of $20,000 if they get maximum points against Benin Republic tomorrow which will secure their place at AFCON 2022.

The Leone Stars are currently on 4 points and they will need to defeat the visitors by a 1 nil victory or two clear goals to ensure their qualification.
Sierra Leone lost 1 nil to Benin in the first leg back in November 2019 in Porto Novo.
