While the Super Eagles are preparing for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone.
Simon was on the Super Eagles team to face Sierra Leone but pulled out due to injury playing for Nantes in a French Ligue 1 encounter.
Simon has however chosen to spend the break with his family.
