The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Adeboye Adejare and his wife, Pastor Folu Adeboye are in a joyous mood as they celebrated their 40th year in ministry.
The couple were dressed in white as the church members joined them in celebrating their 40th anniversary as leaders of the Redeemed Christian Church of God with a standing ovation.
Pastor Adeboye became the General Overseer of the Church in 1981 after he took over from the founder Pa Josiah Akindayomi who lived between 1901 and 1980.
The Redeemed Christian of God is arguably one of the biggest ministries in the world with its presence in 195 counties in the world as of today.
