Jos wasn’t left out as the nationwide #EndSARS, and #EndPoliceBrutalityinNigeria protest “fever” got to the Plateau State capital.
Protesters took to the streets to protest just like their fellow citizens in other parts of the country have been doing for the past few days.
However, they were met with strong opposition as policemen in the convoy of the state Governor, Simon Lalong shot at protesters repeatedly according to some eyewitnesses.
Protesters were seen laying on the floor to avoid being shot at. Some of the shell casings of the bullets fired at the protesters were recovered.
