See the games Osimhen will miss with Napoli after injury with Super Eagles
Super Eagles of Nigeria forward sustained an injury on international duty in a matchday three Group L 2022 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone on Friday, November 13th which ended in a 4-4 draw.
He missed Nigeria’s matchday four AFCON qualifier in Sierra Leone on Tuesday, November 17th.
He was judged to have dislocated his shoulder and returned to his side Serie A giants Napoli.
Napoli has released a statement on their assessment of Osimhen who is expected to miss games against Milan and Rijeka.
The statement said, “Victor Osimhen underwent, at the Villa Stuart clinic in Rome, the instrumental tests and the clinical evaluation that showed results of dislocation anterior to the right shoulder. The player has already started physiotherapy and will be evaluated daily.”
