Crotone’s Simeon (Simy) Tochukwu Nwankwo was on target for Crotone as they played 1-1 draw with Juventus in an Italian Serie A encounter played on Saturday, October 17th.
Simy converted a penalty in the 12th minute to put Crotone in front.
After scoring the goal, Super Eagles strike Simy Nwankwo held up a T-shirt reading πππΏ πππππΎπ π½ππππΌππππ ππ πππππππΌ in relation to protests in the country.
Juventus would find an equalizer through new signing Alvaro Morata who converted a ball by Federico Chiesa to level the scores going into the halftime break.
In the 76th minute, Morata had a chance to put Juventus back in front but missed a penalty as Crotone held on for a draw against the champions who were missing star player Cristiano Ronaldo.
