La Liga outfit Sevilla are close to bringing another Nigerian forward to the club before the end of the January transfer window.
Los Hispalenses are on the verge of agreeing a deal worth β¬5.5m for the services of Nigerian striker Akoh Adams from Montpellier.
European football expert, Fabrizio Romano broke the news on his X timeline on Thursday afternoon.
According to him, other clubs are also interested in signing the 24-year-old striker but Sevilla are leading the race with a transfer fee already in place.
Sevilla are looking to add to their attacking line-up and the Nigerian striker is a prime target for Garcia Pimienta.
Akoh Adams joined Montpellier last season from Norwegian side Lillestrom and scored 13 goals in 49 appearances for the French side.
The striker currently has three goals in 15 Ligue 1 matches for Montpellier so far this season.
Akoh Adams will join Super Eagles duo Kelechi Iheanacho and Chidera Ejuke should the deal pulls through.
