Former Manchester United defender, Patrice Evra has lashed out at the Nigerian Government for killing its citizens for exercising their rights.

While speaking on the #EndSARS protest, the ex-France international said the Nigerian government have given so much power to the now “defunct” Special Anti-Robbery Squad such that they extort, brutality and even kill the citizens.

He also added that it is not just enough to say #PrayforNigeria, instead the people must continue to push the #EndSARS protest until their demands are met.

Patrice Evra went ahead to say his condolence to the victims of the #LekkiMassacre carried out by the Nigerian Army on the 20th of October.
