It has been a wonderful start to the 2023/2024 football season Super Eagles wide forward Simon Moses in the French Ligue 1.
The 29-year-old forward put out another brilliant performance as Nantes recorded a 2 nil home win over Montpellier on Sunday.
Although Moses didn’t score, he provided the assist to Kader Bamba’s 74th minute strike as Nantes doubled their lead and secured all three points.
The Nigerian forward has now provided four assists in the league this season for Canaries – the most in the league so far.
Simon Moses also has two goals to his name in the league as he continues to show his importance to the team.
His performance against Montpellier comes on the back of his outstanding display during the international break for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The winger was a handful in Nigeria’s 2-all draw against Saudi Arabia and he scored the winner in the narrow 3-2 victory over Mozambique.
