Some Nigerians attach gay, LGBT rights to EndSARS protests, see tweets
While citizens in the country and abroad are protesting that the Muhammadu Buhari led Federal government administration end the operations of the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SAR) of the Nigerian police force there have been various diversions in recent days.
Some Nigerians have joined the cause to use the platform to advocate to end bad governance, some for electoral reforms and some for a reduction in wages of the national assembly.
The latest angle is that of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT).
While the LGBT community are popularly referred to as Gay people, some Nigerians have taken to social media to advocate for equal rights.
