Suarez laughs off speculations about transfer switch to Juventus
Barcelona striker Luis Suarez has scoffed at persistent reports that he has agreed a move to Italian giants Juventus.
The Uruguayan had been told he is surplus to requirements at Camp Nou by new Barca coach Ronald Koeman and is reportedly a transfer target for the Serie A Champions.
But claims emanating on Wednesday that a move to Turin is complete appear to be premature after a post by the 33-year old on Instagram.
Alongside a picture of him smiling broadly in training with Barca, Suarez wrote “while fake news comes out ” and below that he placed two emojis alongside the word “me” to show he was talking the reports in good humour.
Suarez is thought to be considering his options and Standard Sports understands he has not yet agreed a move to Juventus although a transfer could still go ahead in the coming days.
The former Liverpool striker has scored 198 goals in 283 games for FC Barcelona.
