Chidozie Awaziem won’t get the chance to play for his parent club, FC Porto ahead of the new football season.
The versatile defender will spend the 2020/2021 season on loan to Boavista with the Portuguese club having the option to sign him on a permanent basis for years according to reports.
Awazieem spent last season away from the Estadio do Dragao as he went on loan to Spanish League side Leganes where he featured 29 times in all competitions for the club.
He only returned to Porto recently after Leganes relegated from the League and took part in training sessions alongside fellow Nigerian, Zaidu Sanusi who joined the club this summer from Santa Clara.
