Super Eagles defender William Troost Ekong joins Watford (pictures)
Super Eagles defender William Troost Ekong has joined English Championship side Watford.
Ekong joined Watford from Italian Serie A side Udinese on Tuesday, September 29th.
In a statement on his official Twitter account, Ekong said, “New chapter @WatfordFC! Happy to be here and ready to get started.”
Ekong will wear the number five jersey at Watford stated that he talked to former Super Eagles forward Odion Ighalo, who played for Watford previously and is now at Manchester United.
He said, “Ighalo used to be my roommate. I spoke to Odion last week. He only had good things to say about the club. He’s a great guy, a fantastic player and like a big brother for me.“
