Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen apologise to Nigerian media outfit after recent outburst! Details 👇

Super Eagles forward and Napoli’s latest acquisition, Victor Osimhem has publicly apologised to Mobile Punch after he slammed the outfit for allegedly publishing a false claim about him.
Mobile Punch recently published a story with reference from an International media, Sport 1 about Osimhen’s dream of doing what the likes of Edinson Cavani and Diego Maradona did for the team.
Victor Osimhen was quoted in the interview with Sport 1 which Mobile Punch sourced their the story from.
He said;
“I am proud to join a club, who have seen great players like Maradona, Higuain and Cavani. I also want to go into the club’s history.”
I want to have a good Serie A and also help the club in the Europa League.”
But Osimhen via his twitter handle denied such claims as he attacked the Nigerian media outfit.

Osimhem went on to apologise afterwards after his post caused a backlash among Journalist and fans online.
As much as I dislike being misquoted or taken out of context by the media, I want to apologise to @MobilePunch and other journalists that felt offended for the type of language I used in my earlier post,sorry about it,make una no vex I still be una boy…peace❤️

The striker is due to join Napoli next month after completing his €60 million move from Lille to the Naples-based club last week
