Super Eagles get new venue for 2022 World Cup Qualifiers!

Africa’s football governing body CAF has named a new venue for the Qatar 2022 World Cup Qualifier between the Central African Republic and the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

The match will be played at the newly-constructed Japoma stadium in Doula after the Stade Barthélemy Boganda in Bangui failed to meet CAF requirements.

The first fixture will be played on the 9th of October at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos while the return fixture will be played three days later in Japoma Stadium in Doula, Cameroun – one of the venues for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations.

The Super Eagles lead group B with six points after victories over Liberia and Cape Verde early in September.
