Super Eagles of Nigeria fail to avenge Benin disaster after 0-0 draw against Sierra Leone, see pictures

On Tuesday, November 17th the Super Eagles of Nigeria played out a goalless draw away against the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone in a matchday four qualifier for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cameroon.

The Super Eagles were expected to make amends for the 4-4 draw with Sierra Leone in Benin City on Friday, November 13th.

The revenge game was not to be as the Sierra Leone team defended well and created more clear cut chances.

The game was a disappointment for both sides as the Super Eagles failed to seize the opportunity to book their ticket to the 2022 AFCON.
