Super Eagles players present signed jersey to Lagos Gov, Babajide Sanwo-olu
There is news about the Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu and Nigeria’s men national football team the Super Eagles.
At the State House Marina on Wednesday, March 24th Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu hosted the Super Eagles to a dinner.
The Super Eagles were treated by the Lagos State Government led administration led by Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu with upcoming 2022 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against the Benin Republic and Lesotho.
In a statement on the official Twitter account of the governor, he stated that the State of Lagos is looking forward to hosting the Super Eagles.
His statement rerads, “We held a reception for our dear Super Eagles at the State House in Lagos as they prepare for their AFCON Qualifiers.
“Football is a national treasure for us as Nigerians and Lagos have historically favored the Super Eagles so we wished them well with prayers and good cheer.”
