Super Eagles lanky forward Paul Ebere Onuachu has been given the green the light to resume training with his teammates after his COVID-19 test turns out negative.
The Racing Genk of Belgium striker tested positive for the virus after returning from Nigeria recently and was immediately placed on isolation.
A preseason friendly against Eendracht Termien was called off as a result of his status having been in contact training with his teammates.
However, Racing Genk coach, Hannes Wolf said Paul Onuachu will return to training with his teammates and will probably feature in the exhibition against Excelsior.
He said;
“But Friday he will just train with the group,” coach Hannes Wolf tells Het Nieuwsblad. “Paul can also compete against Excelsior on Friday in the exhibition match.”
