Super Falcons’ Ajibade’s solitary strike hands Norwegian club important win

Nigeria international striker Rasheedat Ajibade was on target for her Norwegian side Avaldsnes as they
sealed a 1-0 home win against fellow Nigerian Ngozi Ebere’s Arna-bjorna in a Norwegian Toppserien encounter on Saturday.
The former Nigerian U-20 star has now scored five goals in 22 games since her arrival from Robo Queens in 2018.
Ajibade was on for the full duration of the game but Ebere was missing from the tie for Arna.
The win means Lillestrom are second on the log with seven points from three matches and they will travel to face Valarenga in their next game on Friday.
For Arna, the defeat means they now sit in seventh place with three points from three matches.
