Super Falcons captain Asisat Oshoala nominated for UEFA Team of the Year award
On Tuesday, December 1st Super Falcons of Nigeria captain Asisat Oshoala received a nomination for the UEFA Team of the Year award.
The nominees for the UEFA Team of the Year award for their performances in UEFA competitions and domestic competitions from January to December 2020.
There are 50 nominees for the award which involves five goalkeepers, 15 defenders, 15 midfielders, and 15 forwards.
Oshoala was part of the Barcelona Femeni team that won the Spanish title and got to the semifinals of the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
Oshoala was among the 15 forwards for UEFA Team of the Year award.
