The Super Falcons of Nigeria are now aware of their group stage opponents en route to their record 10th Women’s Nations Cup title.
The draw for the 15th edition of the tournament held virtually on Friday as the 16 teams got to know their foes.
Nigeria will face Tunisia, Algeria and Botswana in Group B.
The nine-time Africa champions are not unfamiliar with Algeria and Botswana.
Recall that the Super Falcons beat the Algerian ladies twice in a two-legged international friendly in October.
The Super Falcons defeated Algeria 2-0 in Ikenne and 4-2 in Lagos three days later.
Nigeria met Bostswana for the first time at the 2022 edition of the competition in Morocco.
Ifeoma Onumonu and Christy Ucheibe scored to give the Super Falcons a 2-0 win in the group stage.
The Super Falcons will face Tunisia for the first time in the history of the competition. The north African side crashed out in the quarter-finals of the last edition.
South Africa are the defending champions of the championship. The Banyana Banyana won their first title two years ago as they beat host Morocco in the final.
The Super Falcons will have to contend with not just South Africa but also Morocco and Zambia as they look to win their record 10th title.
The competition stars on July 5, 2025 and ends on July 26, 2025.
