Former Super Eagles and Fermabache of Turkey striker: Emmanuel Emenike believes that a lot of politics go on off the pitch in Nigeria’s football adminstration such that it could make or mar a player’s career especially at the national team level.
Emmanuel Emenike made this known in an Instagram live chat recently with Kuli Kuli football: an online platform that cover Nigerian players abroad.
In the chat, Emenike revealed some of the challenges he faced in the Super Eagles team then before getting a chance to play eventually.

In addition, he also revealed that former Super Eagles captain, Joseph Yobo and Steven Keshi played a huge role in convincing him to play for the Super Eagles before their eventual triumph at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.
The lanky striker scored 9 goals in 37 appearances for the Super Eagles and also finished top goal scorer at the Nations Cup in 2013 with 4 goals.
