Throwback: Real Madrid beats Valencia 3-0 to win 2000 Champions League (video)
On May 24th, 2000, Real Madrid beat Valencia 3-0 to win the Champions League in an all Spanish final encounter.
The game played in front of 80,000 at the Stade de France, Saint-Denis came to life in the 39th minute through Fernando Morientes who gave Real Madrid the lead in the 39th minute.
In the second half, Steve McManaman put Real Madrid two goals up in the 67th minute.
Raúl González made it three in the 75th minute as Real Madrid won their eight title.
