Twitter concerned about ban imposed by Nigerian government

On Friday, June 4th the President Muhammadu Buhari led the Federal government of Nigeria to impose a nationwide ban on Twitter.
Twitter has responded to the ban in Nigeria as “deeply concerning”.
Sarah Hart Twitter’s Senior Policy Communications Manager for Europe, Middle East, and Africa has described the decision of the Federal government to suspend its operations to be concerning.
She made this known in an email response sent to The Cable which said, “The announcement made by the Nigerian Government that they have suspended Twitter’s operations in Nigeria is deeply concerning.
“We’re investigating and will provide updates when we know more,”
