UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman gives his thoughts on protests in Nigeria
Nigeria’s Kamaru Usman who is the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight champion of the world has expressed his thoughts on the protests to end the operation of the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Nigerian police force.
He took to his official instagram account to post an infographic detailing the issues with the country.
Along with the pictures came a message that said, “Well said my brother @dj_tunez Everyone profits from us except us. These are the times that our youths must stand up in order to change the trajectory of our future.
The disparity in our country is just baffling. One of the richest nations in the world with all of our resources happens to be so poor. Change needs to come and it needs to come now ✊🏿🇳🇬 #endsars #endpolicebrutality”
