Popular radio host, Titus Badejo has been murdered by some unknown gunmen in the Oluyole area of Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
The Oyo State police command confirmed the death of the On-Air Personality on Sunday morning.
Adewale Osifeso, a deputy superintendent of police in the state and spokesman of the command, confirmed that Mr. Titus Badejo was murdered at about 11.30 pm outside club 407 in the area.
He told News Agency of Nigeria that;
“At about 7:30 a.m. on Sunday 20th June 2021, one Damilola Afolabi, the manager at Club 407, reported at the Oluyole divisional police headquarters that one Titus Badejo, journalist and freelance disc jockey with the club, was shot outside the club’s premises by unknown assailants on Saturday 19th June.”
“However, comprehensive investigations are in top gear to unravel circumstances surrounding the incident and to apprehend the assailants. Verifiable updates would be provided soonest,”
The corpse of the deceased has been deposited at the mortuary of Adeoyo Hospital, Ring Road, Ibadan.
Until his death, Titus Badejo worked at Naija Fm Ibadan.
