Boavista of Portugal defender, Chogozie Awaziem and newly-invited Abia Warriors defender, Adekunle Adeleke have both arrived at the Super Camp in Lagos in preparation for the Africa Cup of Nations against Lesotho and Benin.
Adekunle Adeleke arrived at the Lagos camp in the afternoon while Chidozie Awaziem arrived a few moments ago. Awaziem was not in action in Boavista’s 0-1 loss to Farense yesterday but the versatile defender has had a decent season so far.
Abia Warriors’ Adekunle Adeleke is one of the highly-rated central defenders in the league this season and he will look to get a run-in in one of the two games possibly.
Adekunle Adeleke was called to the Super Eagles camp as Kenneth Omeruo’s replacement after the Leganes of Spain defender pulled out of the qualifiers last week to nurse his recovery from a recent injury.
