VAAR the talking point as Everton play out 2-2 draw with Liverpool
Everton held neighbours and reigning Premier League champions to a 2-2 draw at Goodison Park in a Premier League encounter played on Saturday, October 17th.
Sadio Mane put Liverpool in front but. Everton would score an equaliser from a corner kick converted by Michael Keane as both sides went to the halftime break level.
Mohamed Salah volleyed Liverpool back in front but Dominic Calvert Lewin again equalised for Everton.
Liverpool put the ball in the back of the net when captain Jordan Henderson converted a cross by Mane late on.
Mike Oliver the center referee gave the goal but was overruled by Video Assistant Referee (VAR) as both sides shared a point each.
The talking point of the game was if VAR denied Liverpool three points by ruling out the goal for offside and also if Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford should have been sent off for a challenge on Virgil Van Dijk.
