Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface cobtinues to show how intrumental he is for Bayer Leverkusen as Xabi Alonso’s side recorded another win the league.
Although Boniface didn’t score in his team’s 3-2 victory away at Hoffeinham, he was on for 88 minutes and provided two assists.
Boniface used his pace and trickery to beat his marker as he provided a square ball into the box for Florian Wirtz’s 9th minute opener.
The 22-year-old striker found himself in space and he laid a wonderful pass for Alejandro Grimaldo who scored with a sublime strike from the edge of the box to secure a 3-2 win Bayer Leverkusen.
Victor Boniface has now scored 7 goals and has provided 5 assists in 10 Bundesliga games this season .
The Nigerian striker was named Bundesliga Player of the Month for August.
