Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen is to return to Napoli after the Italian club confirmed that the 23-year-old has now tested negative for COVID-19.
Napoli confirmed this latest development via their official Twitter handle on Sunday.
“😍 @victorosimhen9 has tested negative for Covid-19 💪
He will return to Italy in the coming hours.”
Osimhen, who is still recovering from a cheekbone injury he picked up in November 2021 tested positive for the virus late December.

Osimhen’s initial result ruled him out of the Super Eagles squad for the Africa Cup of Nations even though he declared himself fit for the competition.
