Villarreal are still interested in signing Sadiq Umar, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Unai Emery has identified Sadiq Umar as a direct replacement for Arnaut Danjuma, but Premier League side West Ham have failed to meet the Dutch international’s personal terms.
However, Romano has now reported that Emery may still get his man if Senegal striker Boulaye Dia now joins Italian club Salernitana on loan with the option of a permanent move.
Sadiq Umar was the top scorer for UD Almeria last season, helping the club earn a long-awaited return to La Liga.
The 25-year-old scored 19 goals, provided 9 assists in 43 games for the Spanish club last season.
