Ivorian defender, Eric Bailly has committed his future to Manchester United by extending his contract by three years which will see him remain at the club until 2024.
Eric Bailly, who joined Manchester United from Villareal in 2016 said he didn’t think twice before signing the dotted lines because of his love and admiration for the club.

Ā The decision is something I didnāt have to think about, I love this club and I love playing for Manchester United. Iām happy and so are my family, everything is good. Now the moment with my injury has passed and Iām fit and feel good, and thatās it. A new contract is like a new challenge and Iām ready for this.ā
Eric Bailly’s time at Manchester United has been bedevilled by injuries such that Ivorian recently reached his 100th appearance for the club. However, he said he doesn’t want injuries as he hopes to finish the season strong.
“I hope I can be ready and I donāt get any injuries and to be strong and finish the season well. I hope to win the Europa League this season. We will have more challenges next season – hopefully,y the Champions League – and, for me, my dream is to win the Premier League, thatās my big dream.ā
In as much as he is somewhat injury-prone, Eric Bailly can be a stalwart in Man Utd defence.
