On Saturday night August, 22nd Alexander Povetkin knocked out Dillian Whyte.
British fighter Whyte was favourite to win against Povetkin.
Whyte was the interim World Boxing Council (WBC) champion.
Whyte was also mandatory to WBC champion Tyson Fury.
The fight was supposed to be Whyte’s last fight before Fury.
Whyte dominated the fight against Povetkin in most of the rounds and dropped Povetkin twice in round four.
Povetkin, however, would win the fight with an incredible one-punch knockout in round five
