The history of Nigerian football and African football to be some extent, in its illustrious nature will be rather incomplete without mentioning the name of one of the greatest exponent: Super Eagles of Nigeria’s Steven Okechukwu Keshi.
Keshi led the Super Eagles to the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations triumph in Tunisia as a player and he also led the team to another triumph at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa as a coach as he became the second man to win the title as a player as well as a coach after Egypt’s Mammoud El Gohary in 1959 and 1998 respectively.
