Watch Nigeria’s Asisat Oshoala make history as the 1st African to score in the UWCL final (video)
Super Falcons of Nigeria captain Asisat Oshoala on the 18th of May 2019 became the first African to score in the final of the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
Oshoala was in action for the Spanish side Barcelona Femeni as they faced the Lyon women’s team.
Lyon went four goals ahead in the first half through a goal by Dzsenifer Marozsán and three goals by Ada Hegerberg.
Oshoala came in for Toni Duggan in the 69th minute and scored the only goal for her side in the 89th minute.
