Super Eagles of Nigeria defender Zaidu Sanusi has scored his first goal in the Champions League.
Zaidu scored his first goal in the Champions League to help his side Porto record a 2-0 away win against Marseille in a matchday four group encounter played on Wednesday, November 25th.
Sanusi opened the scoring in the 39th minute rebounding an effort after a corner kick to give Porto the lead at the halftime break.
In the 72nd minute, Sergio Oliveira converted a penalty to seal the win for Porto.
Speaking after the game Sanusi said, “We got three important points and congratulations to the whole team. It is a very important goal in my career, my first in the Champions League.”
