Senegalese youngster Ismaila Sarr was the hero as Watford stunned champions elect Liverpool in a Premier League encounter played on Saturday, February 29th.
After a goalless first half, Sarr who turned 22-years-old on Thursday opened the floodgates in the 54th minute.
He then scored his second in the 64th minute before creating the assist for captain Troy Deeney to score the third in the 72nd minute.
The much needed win ended Liverpool’s 44-game Premier League unbeaten streak. It was also the first time the Reds lost in 422 days in the league which involves 44 matches starting from last year till this season.
The story of the game however is about Sarr who was brought in by Watford from Nice for a club record fee. How good is he?
