Super Eagles coach, Jose Peseiro has hailed the Guinea-Bissau national team as a quality side ahead of the AFCON 2024 qualifiers.
The Super Eagles are set to take on Guinea-Bissau on Friday, March 24 at the Moshood Abiola Stadium and the reverse fixture on Monday, March 27 at the Estadio 24 de Setembro.
Peseiro targeted victory over Guinea-Bissau in the pre-match conference.
“Guinea-Bissau was at the last AFCON they currently have four points after beating Sao Tome and drawing with Sierra Leone,” Peseiro said
“They are a team with good quality, they will try to defend here and rely on counter attack. But it’s now left for us to put our commitments into the game.
“There are no easy matches and if we don’t give our maximum we won’t beat Guinea-Bissau.”
Super Eagles are first in Group A Afcon qualifiers with six points from two games.
The AFCON is set to take place between January and February 2024.
