Westham beat the unbeatable, end Liverpool’s 25-game unbeaten run across all competitions!

Well, one might say Westham are punching above their weight right now but David Moyes’ men won’t care about that right now as they continue impressive start to the season.

An unfortunate own goal by Alison Becker, Pablo Fornal’s goal and a thumping header from Kurt Zouma gave Westham a famous 3-2 win over Liverpool at the London Stadium.

While Liverpool had the Lion share of possession, David Moyes’ side held on to their three goals and three points as they handed Liverpool their first defeat of the season in all competitions.

Sadio Mane had the chance to draw level for Liverpool late in the game after Divock Origi made it 3-2 but the Senegalese missed the opportunity.

Westham’s win over Liverpool has now placed the London side third on the log behind Chelsea and champions, Manchester City heading into the International break.
