Westham interested in signing Nigerian striker, Tarem Moffi

Premier League side Westham United according to reports, are interested in signing Nigerian striker Tarem Moffi from Lorient in the Frech top division.

Reports also have it that the London club have already submitted a bid of £20m plus £5m in ad ons for the 23-year-old striker as they look to seal the deal before the January transfer window closes.

Tarem Moffi has been in brilliant form so far this season in the French League 1 with 12 goals in 18 games. Moffi is a left-footed striker who can also play comfortably on the left and right flanks as well.

Moffi is seen as a good competitor to both Michail Antonio and summer signing Gianluca Scamacca who has so far struggled with form since his arrival from Sassuolo.

The young Italian striker has only registered 3 goals in 16 Premier League appearances as David Moyes side languishes in the relegation zone with 15 points after 19 games.

Antonio on the other hand has scored just 2 goals in 18 games this season.
