Why I am actively participating in #EndSARS protest! – Super Eagles midfielder, John Ogu

Super Eagles midfielder, John Ogu is one of many other popular figures who have been actively participating in the ongoing nationwide #EndSARS protest.

John Ogu said he derives his motivation to partake in the protest from the struggles, and travails of the youths some of whom have unfortunately died as a result of police brutality in the country.

The Super Eagles midfielder said he will continue to take part in the protest as long as it makes the country change for good.

The 32-year-old midfielder shared his thoughts via his verified Twitter page a few minutes ago.

He said:

That walk from Lekki Tollgate yesterday to Onikan gave me Joy. All the pain, struggles and killing of the youth gave me that energy to walk as long as the country will get better. The crowd was Massive #EndPoliceBrutalityInNigeriaNow

John Ogu has been vigorously involved in the protest for the past few days and he was seen in a recent picture where he held a placard with the inscription, #EndSARS written on it.
