The result means that Real Madrid are back in their fourth Champions League semifinal in five years.

The previous three times Real Madrid were in the semifinals, they emerged champions back in 2016, 2017, and 2018.
Real Madrid has won the Champions League 13 times, and are the most successful side in the competition.
The Spanish side last won the competition in 2018 and still has most of the core players in Luka Modric, Casimero, Toni Kroos, Raphael Varane, and Sergio Ramos.

Zinedine Zidane is synonymous with the Champions League with triumphs as a player with Juventus and Real Madrid as a player.
As a coach, has won the competition three times which was in a row between 2016-2018.
Several critics believe that Zidane has been successful because of the great Cristiano Ronaldo but this is far from the truth as his managerial experience has seen him knock off more-lauded managers such as Jurgen Klopp and will be pivotal to them being the last team standing.
