English Premier League, Wolverhampton Wanderers have completed the signing of 31-year-old Brazilian defender, Fernando Marcal from French Ligue 1 side, Lyon for a fee in the region €2m.
His signing comes barely 24 hours after the club completed the signing of 18-year-old Fabio Silva from FC Porto for €40m according to reports.
Fernando Marcal began his career in his home country with Gremio and later played for Guarantingueta before signing for Portuguese second League side, Torrense.
He also featured for National in the Portuguese Primera Liga where he had 97 league appearances between 2011-2015.
Marcal joined Benfica but went on loan to Gazientespor twice before eventually signing for Lyon in 2017 where he recorded 75 appearances and 5 assists.
