The Super Eagkes of Nigeria will take on Cape Verde in their second 2022 World qualifier as they look to maintain the top spot in Group C after Central Africa Republic lost to Liberia 1 nil.
The team arrived in Cape Verde in the early hours of Monday and held a light training session at the Estadio Municipal Aderito Sena in Mindelo, a port city on the island of São Vicente.

The match will be played at the same venue on Tuesday. Nigeria currently top the group with 3 points and 2 goals.
In a piece of related news, Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa is set to make his 100th appearance for the team as he looks to join the likes of Vincent Enyeama and current assistant coach, Joseph Yobo who both have over 100 appearances for the Super Eagles.
