Super Eagles midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bahiru has joined Italian Serie A side Lazio on a season-long Loan deal with an option to buy.
Lazio confirmed the arrival of the midfielder at the club via a statement on its official website on Saturday.
“The S.S. Lazio announces that it has acquired on a temporary basis with obligation to buy the right to the sporting performances of the footballer Oluwafisayo Faruq Dele-Bashiru from Atakaş Hatayspor FK.”

Dele-Bashiru spent the 2023/2024 season at Turkish outfit Hatayspor where he scored 9 goals and provided 4 assists in 38 matches for the club.
According to Joe Crann, a journalist for Sheffield Wednesday football club, Lazio will pay €2m for the loan deal and then €4m at the end of the 2024/2025 season.
Recall that the midfielder spent four years at Sheffield Wednesday after he left the youth team of Manchester City.
Fisayo Dele-Bahiru earned his first call-up to the Super Eagles in June and made his debut against South Africa in a FIFA World Cup qualifier.
The 23-year-old scored the equalizer in the second half to earn the Super Eagles a point against Bafana Bafana in Uyo.
