Tanzania lost their opening Group C match to the Super Eagles of Nigeria but it seems one of their supporters in the stadium “won” off the pitch.
The Taifa Stars suffered a 2-1 defeat but a fan of theirs was captured on camera exchanging warm gestures with a beautiful Nigerian lady wearing the famous Super Eagles Atlanta 1996 jersey.
Even though Tanzania were losing at that point, the fan was unconcerned as he seems to be enjoying the beautiful moment with the Nigerian lady.
The Tanzanian fan possibly exchanged phone numbers with the pretty Nigerian lady as they both stared at each others phones ensuring there’s are no mistakes in the digits.
Well, people go to the AFCON for different reasons. The tournament itself is an encapsulation of football, food, music, fans’ connection, cultural exchange among other activities.
Tanzania might not even progress beyond the group stage of the competition but the fan will probably be satisfied with the “result” he got off the pitch on Tuesday evening.
